Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for credits purchased for the Academia Plus platform from DigitalGeyser Smart Solutions ("DigitalGeyser", "we", "us"). Credits are a prepaid digital product and are generally non-refundable, but we will always make things right when a technical failure on our side prevents you from receiving what you paid for.

1. Credits and validity

Academia Plus runs on a credit model, where one credit equals one processed page. Credits are prepaid and consumed as you process documents, and are generally non-refundable once purchased. Credits are valid for three months from the date of purchase; unused credits expire at the end of that period.

2. When we re-credit or refund

We will make things right where a technical failure on our side (for example, our servers failing to deliver a document while still deducting your credits) prevented you from receiving what you paid for. In these cases we restore the affected credits to your account (a re-credit); where a re-credit is not possible, we will work with you on an appropriate resolution.

  • Server-side technical failure. Credits deducted for a generation that our systems failed to deliver are restored to your account.
  • Documents that are unusable. Minor issues can be fixed in your editable file (see below), but if a paper comes out full of errors and completely unusable, a refund may be granted; each such request is assessed case by case.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges. If you are charged in error or charged twice for the same purchase, we will refund the incorrect amount.

3. What is not refundable

  • Credits already used to process pages, and credits consumed by successful processing.
  • Credits that have expired after the three-month validity period.
  • Changes of mind or accidental use.
  • Dissatisfaction with the quality, formatting or accuracy of AI-generated output, by itself. Because output is AI-generated and provided as a productivity aid, results can vary and should always be reviewed and edited by you. We recommend requesting a free trial first so you can assess output quality before purchasing.
  • Minor errors. Light mistakes — such as formatting or spelling errors, or missed or erroneous content that can be easily corrected — are not a reason for a refund, since your document is delivered as an editable Word (DOCX) file.

4. How to request a refund

If you believe a server-side technical error caused credits to be lost, reach us via our contact page from the address associated with your account within 7 days of the transaction. Please include your account email, the approximate date and time, and a short description of what happened. We will investigate and, where the claim is valid, re-credit your account.

5. Processing

Approved re-credits are applied to your account balance. Any monetary refund, where exceptionally agreed, is made to the original payment method via our payment processor (Cashfree) and may take a few business days to reflect.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
