These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications and services provided by DigitalGeyser Smart Solutions ("DigitalGeyser", "we", "us"), including the Academia Plus platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By using the Service, you confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of the institution or organisation you represent and that you accept these Terms on its behalf. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. The service
Academia Plus is an academic workflow platform that helps educational institutions generate answer keys, question papers and notes from uploaded documents and images, with output available in PDF and DOCX. Features, limits and capabilities may change as we improve the Service.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Credits, pricing and payment
- The Service operates on a credit model. One credit equals one processed page.
- The base price is ₹25 per credit. Volume pricing applies: ₹22.5 per credit for 200–599 credits (10% off), ₹21.25 per credit for 600–999 credits (15% off), and ₹20 per credit for 1000 or more credits (20% off).
- Credits are valid for three months from the date of purchase, after which any unused credits expire.
- Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may revise pricing prospectively; changes will not affect credits already purchased.
Payments are processed by Cashfree; completing a purchase is subject to their processing and to these Terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Your content and acceptable use
You retain ownership of the question papers, textbook images and other materials you upload ("Your Content"). You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload Your Content and to generate documents from it, and that doing so does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable law.
You agree not to use the Service to upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you are not authorised to use. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of generated materials complies with the rights of textbook publishers and other rights holders.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and underlying technology, is owned by DigitalGeyser and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Documents you generate are yours to use for your institution's purposes, subject to your compliance with these Terms and the rights of any third parties in the source material.
7. AI-generated output
Academia Plus uses automated and AI-assisted processing. While the Service is designed to produce institution-ready output that needs minimal editing, generated content may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all output before distributing or relying on it. We do not warrant that output will be complete, accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
8. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any unavailability or for loss arising from changes to the Service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DigitalGeyser will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for credits in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm to us, other users or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our registered place of business will have jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to applicable law.
